Welcome to the Fresno Pacific University Graduate Admissions step-by-step Guide to Becoming a Graduate Student. Below you will find all the steps and important links for you in order to apply to one of our graduate programs. Admission requirements are not the same for every program. Please check the FPU Catalog for any additional requirements. If you have any questions during the process, contact your program representative.

1 Apply to your program Apply online or contact our graduate office for an application. Telephone: 888-328-0378. Once you apply, you will receive correspondence from us in the form of a letter or email outlining necessary requirements for admission.

Make appointment

Please make appointment via phone or in person with your program director or program representative, if you haven't already done so. If you are required to meet with your program director, that information would have been outlined in the letter you received regarding your application requirements.

Apply for financial aid (optional)

Need help in paying for your program? All graduate students qualify for financial aid! Most assistance will be in the form of student loans.

You must be taking at least five units to qualify.

4 Receive admit decision Once you have a complete application, your file will be reviewed by the program director for an admission decision. You will receive a letter (within 2 - 4 weeks) regarding your admit status.

Receive CampusCruiser password 

This is the university portal through which all student services are linked. This would include services such as registration, grades, student accounts, course listings, etc.

Once you have been admitted, you will receive your CampusCruiser ID and password within two weeks of receiving your admit letter. This will come to you via the email address you supplied to us on your application.

If your email address has changed or you do not have one, please contact the Graduate Admissions Office right away: 559-453-2016

Complete your Education Plan 

This is a plan designating which classes you will be taking for each semester. This will include your entire program.

Check CampusCruiser to verify that your Education Plan is listed. If it is, then you can continue to step 7 and register for classes. If not, you will need to add your Education Plan. Contact your program director if you have not received a copy of your EdPlan. Once your EdPlan is in CampusCruiser and it has been approved by your program director, you are eligible to register for classes.
7 Register for Classes

Register for your classes online through CampusCruiser. Once logged into CampusCruiser, check out the helpful video regarding registration! Download PDF to see video link.

One you register for classes you will receive an immediate confirmation. Print this page for your records. You will also receive an email letting you know that your registration was received.

8 Pay Tuition and Fees or Make Payment Arrangement Your tuition is due at the time of registration. If you prefer, you may enroll in a payment plan, making monthly installments over the duration of the semester. Visit fresno.edu/myaccount or fresno.edu/paymentplan for more information.
