SeniorNatural Science: Pre-health emphasis

I am the middle child - I'm the first one in my family to go to college. I have cousins who went, but I'm actually the first one to leave the family and go away. I am the first one to live farther than twenty minutes away!

Last year I was the executive secretary of Student Exec. and this year I am the vice president. I tried to be involved as much as I can with a campus ministry called Inreach: we go down by the jail in downtown Fresno and they have a food line - a free food line - for the homeless and so we help hand out food and have conversations with people. It has been quite the experience!

I plan to pursue my medical doctorate. I want to specialize in pediatrics. I have been looking at a couple different grad schools; I've been looking at Loma Linda to go to med. school there and I have also looked at one in Portland, Oregon.

I'd say, get involved, in anything, whether it's sports or clubs or leadership or ministries. It opens your eyes to not only who you are, but what's around you. You learn so much about other people and about yourself.
