Checklist for Undergraduate Admission

Use the list below as a guide to keep track of your application to FPU. Refer back to this page, or simply print it out to keep it with you.

REQUIREMENTS
Freshmen

  • 3.1 GPA
  • 19 ACT or 900 SAT I (Critical Reading & Math)
  • The following 13 high school courses must be completed with a grade of "C" or better:
    • 4 years of college preparatory English
    • 3 years of college preparatory mathematics
    • 2 years of social science
    • 1 year of laboratory science
    • 2 years of same foreign language
    • 1 year of visual of performing arts

Transfer Students

  • 2.4 GPA
  • 24 or more transferable units (70 lower division units total)
  • If under 24 transferable units, the admission decision will be based on combined high school and college work.
  • Visit www.fresno.edu/transferagreements to verify which courses meet Fresno Pacific's general education

ADMISSION
To complete your online application please submit the following to Fresno Pacific University's Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

  • Official high school and college transcripts. NOTE: Applicants are responsible to submit a complete high school transcript verifying graduation before enrollment.
  • Recommendation form completed by a teacher/professor, counselor, pastor or church leader.
  • ACT or SAT I scores. NOTE: Fresno Pacific is currently not using the new writing section to determine a student’s acceptability to the university.

ONCE YOU'RE ACCEPTED

  • Submit $200 confirmation fee
  • Sign-up for one of the scheduled registration days, May 19, June 14, July 13 and August 22.
  • Provide proof of the following immunizations:
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella) - 2 doses
    • DPT (Diphtheria, Pertussis and Tetanus) - 4 doses
    • Tetanus booster (within the last 10 years)
    • Polio Vaccine - 3 or 4 doses, depending on type
  • Meet with your advisor to select classes
