Betsy Myers joined the FPU staff in August 2004 as Assistant Athletic Trainer. She was promoted to Head Athletic Trainer in June 2006.

Betsy graduated from Fresno Christian High School in 1997, then enrolled at Hope International University in Fullerton. She was a member of the volleyball team for each of her four years at both FCHS and HIU.

She earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from HIU in 2001 and returned to Fresno Christian as volleyball coach, athletic trainer and teacher. Betsy enrolled in the athletic training education program at California State University, Fresno, completing a master's degree in kinesiology in 2004. While at CSUF she worked with the football, volleyball, women’s soccer, track, and equestrian teams.

She is an active member of the Northside Christian Church in Fresno. Betsy married Darren Myers in October of 2006.
