Pandzic wins singles title

Fresno - Top-seeded Jelena Pandzic defeated tenth-seeded Maria Mizyuk of Nevada 7-5, 6-1 to claim the singles championship in the Bulldog Classic this afternoon.

Earlier in the day Pandzic defeated third-seeded Caroline Bailly, also of Nevada, 6-1, 6-0 in the semifinals.

Pandzic, Megan Hanner and newcomer Audrey Laib will be in San Diego next weekend for the I.T.A Region Championship. The even is hosted by Point Loma Nazarene University.
