Bakersfield Center is growing
In order to meet your needs, FPU continues to invest in ways to allow a greater number of students to enroll in our evening bachelor degree completion and graduate programs across the valley.
Our new Bakersfield Center is now under way. Located on Stockdale Highway across from the new Riverwalk, your new center will be 20,000 square feet. With more space, we'll be able to add more programs to fit your needs.

Current location
The Bakersfield Center is located off of Highway 99 in downtown Bakersfield. The center offers accelerated bachelor's degree completion programs as well as master's degrees. All courses are offered in the evening and are taught by experienced faculty.
The staff and faculty endeavor to offer quality and personal service in a professional environment. The classrooms are equipped with the latest in technology and set up in a way that encourages an open and interactive atmosphere.
The center offers access to:

- Program Advising
- Internet access
- “Smart” classrooms with multi-media equipment
- Computer lab for in-class learning activities
- Electronic library
The office is open Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., and Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
