Cheer Camp

Dates:

  • July 8-10, 2013

Times:

  • Monday: 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

    Cost:

    • $60 per camper
    • Includes a t-shirt

    Who:

    • Boys and girls ages 6 -12

    What will be taught:

    • Basic tumbling skills including:
      • Forward rolls
      • Back extension rolls
      • Cartwheels
      • Roundoffs
      • Bridges with a kick over
    • Stunting:
      • How to stunt
      • Stunt positions:
        • Base
        • Back spot
        • Front spot
        • Flyer
        • Thigh stands
        • Halves and fulls
        • Shoulder sits
    • Dance: Students will be taught a routine that all of the students will perform on Wednesday at the conclusion of the camp
    • Sideline cheers for both offense and defense
