Professional Experience: Prior to coming to FPU, Brian taught at a school for missionary children for 17 years where he taught Physical Education and Health and coached Varsity Basketball for 15 years and Varsity Volleyball for 12 years. He has enjoyed teaching people to do what he used to do, both in the traditional classes at FPU and through the Center for Professional Development.

Favorite Activities: Brian enjoys a wide variety of sports but has especially enjoyed getting back into tennis recently.

Family Info: Has been married to wife Gaylene since 1981 and has three grown children.

Subject Expertise: Brian has been the Program Director for Kinesiology at Fresno Pacific University since the 1999-2000 school year.

Education: M.A. degree from California State University, Fresno

Home town: Grew up in Salinas, CA, lived in Kenya, East Africa for 17 years and now calls Fresno, CA home.

What I Like About FPU: Brian enjoys teaching at FPU where he can freely share Biblical principles as he is teaching.
