ONLINE COURSE! This methods course is designed to explore how the study of Biology, with emphasis on the systems of the body, can be used to enrich the Science programs. Participants are required to complete and evaluate a planned series of experiments and/or experiences with their students. This Online course is in alignment with the California State and National Standards. All experiments and/or experiences may be used with children in the classroom, home and/or neighborhood. Living systems at all levels of organization demonstrate the complementary nature of structure and function. Important levels of organization for structure and function include cells, organs, tissues, organ systems, whole organisms, and ecosystems.
