The YES! Project - Youth Engage Shakespeare
Fresno Pacific Theater is happy to present the first annual YES! Shakespeare Project this July - August (2013).
Through a partnership with Woodward Shakespeare Festival (WSF), FPU will co-host local teens in a three-week workshop around WSF’s summer season of Shakespearean plays. We will play games together, practice Shakespearean style, learn scenes and explore our creative voices by devising original scenes in response to the play material.
The workshop culminates with a performance at the WSF stage in Woodward Park on Friday, August 16 at 7:00 p.m.
Workshop facilitators are Julia Reimer (FPU theater faculty) and Erin Baird (Edison High School theater faculty).
