How to Apply

Our programs are designed for working professionals. To accommodate busy schedules, we offer convenient scheduling, multiple campuses and online study options.  We encourage applications from recent graduates as well as from those who may have been out of school for some time.

Quick Start

  1. Start an online application
  2. Questions about specific degrees, credentials and/or certificates can be answered by the program director. If you would like more information, you can attend a graduate information meeting. These meetings are held once a semester, but you can contact an admissions counselor at gradadmis@fresno.edu or 559-453-2016 at any time.

What is the application process?

  • Individuals interested in applying for admission should contact an admissions counsellor by email or phone at 559-453-2016 or apply online. Once a prospective student has submitted all of the necessary documents, their application file will go to the specific program committee for consideration and a letter of notification will be sent.
  • Application Fees
Standard graduate application fees are $90. The fee is only $60 if you submit your application by the early enrollment dates listed below.
  • Early Enrollment Dates
The early enrollment date for fall is July 15th; spring is November 15th; and summer is March 15th.
  • We accept applications on a rolling basis and will continue to accept individuals until capacity is reached.
  • Transcripts
Transcripts submitted for admission or transfer credit become the property of Fresno Pacific University and cannot be returned to the applicant or forwarded to other institutions. This includes making copies of transfer records.
  • Financial Aid
Those in need of financial aid should file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) and a Graduate Financial Aid Application. Students can only receive financial aid if they have been officially admitted into a program. Please see the Student Financial Services section of our website for further information and instructions.
  • Non-Degree Seeking Students
Students who wish to enroll in a graduate class but do not intend on earning a degree/credential/certificate from FPU can apply for unclassified standing. Please contact the Graduate and Degree Completion Office at 559-453-2016 to receive this form.

If at any point you have questions, please contact us via email at gradadmis@fresno.edu or by phone at 559-453-2016.
