Master of Arts in Education: Curriculum and Teaching Emphasis - Traditional
The general strand is a traditional degree with face-to-face classes providing experienced teachers a strong foundation in curriculum and an opportunity to develop in-depth expertise in a specific area of interest. Students choose from a menu of options to design individual courses of study that focus on the content areas or issues most relevant to their personal or professional interests. Each student, in consultation with the program director, creates a general plan of study that includes current topics in curricular approaches.

- 40 - 42 units of study
- Nine content areas offered for individualized focus.
- Courses offered in traditional face-to-face format in Fresno and Visalia.
- District induction experience may be applied towards this master's degree at a reduced cost.
- Up to 9 units may be transferred from teacher education.
