Teacher Librarian Services Credential
This credential is designed to expose students to a rich set of experiences that will prepare them for service in school libraries. It is specifically intended to prepare them to work collaboratively with classroom teachers to develop and implement programs related to curriculum, as well as to select, organize, manage and guide the use of learning resources in all formats. It has been approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and is known for educational quality throughout the state and nation.

What are the admission requirements?

- Verification of passing the CBEST
- Basic credential
- Official transcript of BA/BS degree
- Letter of explanation if GPA is under 2.75

What are my program options and what courses will I be taking?
- Online credential - Those students who are at a distance and/or enjoy interactive learning are given the flexibility of learning at home.
- Traditional credential - Face-to-face classes are offered in Fresno or Bakersfield.
How much does it cost?

When can I start?
- Courses are in the semester format, beginning in the fall (August), spring(January) or summer(May). Online cohorts begin each semester as enrollment dictates.
