Preliminary Single Subject Credential - Part-time student

For those who wish to start a part-time credential program in fall and who choose to work until they begin final student teaching:

EDUC 697 Introduction to Educational Assessment for Teachers 1 unit
SED 605 Special Education 3 units
LLC 752 Linguistics for Teachers** 3 units
Tuition per semester: 6 units x $495=$2,970*
Fall Term
EDUC 6635A Extended Initial Student Teaching 1 unit
EDUC 694 Curriculum Design & Implementation 4 units
EDUC 644 Educational Technology 1 unit
Starting in the first week of September, students will work in assigned placement for the equivalent of one period per day, five days per week, for 12 weeks.

Spring Term
EDUC 635B Extended Initial Student Teaching 1 unit
EDUC 693 Reading & Writing in the Secondary Classroom 4 units
EDUC 696 GE Single Subject Methods, General 2 units

Students will continue to work in assigned placement for the equivalent of one period per day, five days per week, for 12 weeks.
