Fresno Pacific University offers several areas of study for credential and master's degrees in special education. A certificate is available for early childhood education, as well as the resource specialist certificate of competence program. Independent teaching coursework is completed at the candidate's employment site or a directed teaching experience may be completed under a master teacher for those who are not yet employed. Multiple credentials may easily be obtained due to the integrated design of the program.
Master of Arts
Serves all schools and agencies related to special education care providers. May be acquired independent of a credential program.
