In order to award financial aid packages in a timely manner, please complete the current FAFSA and Graduate Financial Aid Application as soon as possible. These two documents can be completed before you are admitted into a teacher education program.

| 1. | Complete a current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. | March - August | June - December | October - April |
| 2. | Submit the Graduate Financial Aid Application to the Student Financial Services Office located on the main Fresno campus. | March - August | March - January | March - May |
| 3. | Submit the School of Education Grant application to the School of Education dean. | July 15 | November 15 | March 15 |
| 4. | Financial aid applications are processed by the Financial Aid Office. | After your admission to classified standing. | ||
| 5. | Financial aid award letters are mailed to recipients. | After all above forms are completed. | ||
| 6. | Financial aid is applied to your student account.(Students whose financial aid is not in place at the beginning of class will be required to make payment arrangements.) | Approximately four weeks after you sign and return your award letter. |
