Admission and Testing Requirements for the Preliminary Single Subject Credential
By completing the following tasks, you will meet the admission and testing requirements to enter the single subject credential program.

| 1. | Schedule an appointment to learn about the program, review admission requirements and tests, discuss financial aid options and make a tentative program plan.

| 2. | Submit your Application to Graduate Studies along with the application fee and required documents:

| 3. | Schedule an admission interview with your program director to review your admissions qualifications and revise/confirm your program plan.

When you receive verification by letter that your file is complete. | ||
| 4. | Receive your Campus Cruiser Login. The division of teacher education maintains a "Future Teacher Club" which has vital information for your use during your time in the program. | After you are admitted to the program or register for your first class. | ||
| 5. | Register for classes online. | After you receive your letter of admission to classified standing. | ||
| 6. | Complete the Online New Student Orientation. | Early in the semester. | ||
| 7. | Learn about the Teaching Performance Assessment (TPA)tasks. | Early in the semester. | ||
| 8. | Start your student teaching assignment. | Information about student teaching assignments and dates will be available at orientation. | ||
| 9. | Begin classes. | Check schedule of courses on Campus Cruiser. |
