Personal Experiences
I have had the good fortune to teach on three continents and to present math and science workshops to teachers on five continents. This international experience led to my doctoral work, which was done in Australia. Since coming to Fresno Pacific University I have stayed active working with K-12 teachers and students around the globe as well as in the Central Valley of California.

Other Information
My wife and I are very active in our church and feel called as Christians to live a simple and green lifestyle in order to be better stewards of God's creation. This simple lifestyle (I don't own a car and have bicycled to work daily for over 30 years) allows us to give generously to those in need around the world. Because I was born in Pakistan and have lived outside the United States for over 10 years, I consider myself a citizen of the world. This experience has provided me with a very different outlook on world events. It has also given me a passion to work with teachers and students not just in California, but around the globe.
