Seminary Graduates Say "Thank You"
"MB Biblical Seminary inspired my wife and I to live out our faith in a community. The seminary gave us opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom to meet in small groups, open up our hearts to each other and allow the Holy Spirit to work deeply in our lives. The seminary's location challenged us to live in a low income area and live out our faith among new immigrants, working-class folks and the homeless. We were equipped to study the Bible and think biblically."
"As church planters in a foreign culture, we are challenged daily to make the message of God's love in the Bible relevant to people who have never heard the name of Jesus. We've seen lives changed as the Spirit uses the Bible to open up hearts and minds to the truth that Jesus is the only one who can save us from sin."
Dave graduated from MB Biblical Seminary's Fresno, California campus in 1993 with his Master of Divinity degree. Along with his wife Louise, also an alumnus of the seminary, they have served with MBMS International's Team 2000 in Thailand since 2001. Dave and Louise have four children: Kyla, Micah, Grace and Sierra.
"The combination of academic challenge, caring professors and relationships with other students at MB Biblical Seminary truly helped to equip me for full-time church ministry. While seminaries typically prepare students academically, MBBS was also focused on preparing me practically. Their unique emphasis on an anabaptist/evangelical perspective was also a valuable experience."
