Steve Hargadon is director of the Learning Revolution Project and Web 2.0 Labs, host of the Future of Education series and founder and chair or co-chair of the annual Global Education Conference, the Library 2.0 Conference and the School Leadership Summit. His virtual and physical events attract more than 100,000 participants annually. Hargadon pioneered social networking in education with Classroom 2.0, and, in addition to blogging and speaking, consults with clients including PBS, Intel, Ning, Blackboard, Microsoft, KnowledgeWorks Foundation, CoSN, MERLOT, the U.S. State Department of Education and Mightybell. Angelica Shirley Carpenter  is the author or co-author of four illustrated biographies for young people: Frances Hodgson Burnett: Beyond the Secret Garden (1990), L. Frank Baum: Royal Historian of Oz (1992), Robert Louis Stevenson: Finding Treasure Island (1997) and Lewis Carroll: Through the Looking Glass (2003) as well as the editor of In the Garden: Essays in Honor of Frances Hodgson Burnett (2006). She is a member of the board of the International Wizard of Oz Club (ozclub.org) and the Lewis Carroll Society of North America. Carpenter is a member of the British and the Canadian Lewis Carroll societies, the Robert Louis Stevenson Club and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and illustrators.
