Keynote Speakers:
Ramsey Musallam, Ed. D., is a high school chemistry teacher at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in San Francisco and an adjunct professor of education at Touro University and the University of San Francisco. Ramsey's research interestes include inquiry based learning and multimedia learning. Ramsey is passionate about using technology, specifically video to fuel the inquiry process, and works regularly with other teachers to help design innovative learning environments. Ramsey regularly blogs at Cycles of Learining and is the host of the Infinite Thinking Machine, an online TV show aimed to share innovation in the area of learning and instruction.-
Harjot Singh, M.D., grew up in India and lives in California with his wife and two children. He has been reading books and telling stories as long as he can remember. This book grew out of his storytelling to his children about Indian culture and history, especially the stories that move him and make his heart beat faster. In addition to being a writer, Dr. Singh is an assistant clinical professor in psychiatry at UCSF-Fresno Psychiatry Residency Program. Dr. Singh says, “The joy of reading led me to writing. I have been making up stories in my head since my childhood, but it was only when I started telling some of these to my children, they asked me to write them. And now all the children can read them."
