Alternatives was the theme of a celebration of Earth Day April 22.
Several faculty and staff members brought their electric cars to the main FPU campus, discussing their features and in some cases offering test drives. Other participants included Valley Edible Landscapes, a community benefit organization sponsored by On Ramps Covenant Church, which offers a variety of sustainable, regenerative and low-water options; and CaliforniaFIRST, a partnership between county government and a private financing company to provide upfront funding for energy efficiency, renewable energy and water efficiency improvements for homes and businesses.
