Ruth-Heffelbower writes of challenges to peacemaking

Duane Ruth-Heffelbower, M.Div., J.D., retired associate professor of peacemaking and conflict studies/business, published “Thoughts on the Future of the Field—Challenges” in ACResolution, the quarterly publication of the Association for Conflict Resolution. ACR is a national professional association for mediators, arbitrators, educators and other conflict resolution practitioners working in a wide range of settings throughout the United States and around the world (acrnet.org). During Ruth-Heffelbower’s many years of involvement with ACR, his positions have included co-chair of the family section, chair of the training committee and webmaster. He was also honored with the association’s 2012 Presidential Award.
