Pupil Personnel Services Program - School Counseling and School Pyschology
The pupil personnel services (PPS) program offers two credentials, three master of arts degrees and a certificate. PPS school counselors and school psychologists primarily work in school settings including public, private and child development organizations. Candidates with master's degrees may also work in higher education settings.
School Counseling
- School Counseling PPS Credential
This credential equips counselors with a thorough knowledge and understanding of interventions necessary to assist students. - School Counseling PPS Master's Degree
This master's degree is designed to develop thorough knowledge and understanding of the most appropriate strategies and techniques to develop, implement and evaluate a counseling and guidance program.
School Psychology
- School Psychology PPS Credential/Master's Degree
This master's degree includes a credential which enables students to consolidate coursework, obtaining two necessary components for employment as a school psychologist.
Dual Program
- School Counseling / School Psychology Dual Program
This program offers the opportunity to complete both a credential in school psychology and a credential in school counseling in addition to a master's degree in pupil personnel services.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst(BCBA) Certificate
The BCBA certificate program prepares individuals to assist people in learning new behaviors, increasing or reducing existing behaviors, and teaching when to use specific behaviors in specific instances.
