Spanish Language and Culture - Latin American Cultures

Latin America consists of many individual countries, each with a unique history, and each with a unique culture. The Latin American cultures emphasis exposes students to some of these cultures, exploring their differences from each other, and from American ways of life.

Courses for this emphasis focus on the religions found in Latin cultures and their impact, on multicultural literature and Latin American thought, as discovered through selected readings.
