Teacher Education - Preliminary Multiple Subject Credential
Teaching is a calling to redemptive service.
The preliminary multiple subject credential offers a foundational knowledge and understanding of education principles, including directed student teaching, language and literacy, elementary mathematics and science, and teaching using technology. We expect that graduates with our credential will become scholars, professionals, peacemakers and leaders as they enter the teaching profession.

Our Graduates
The preliminary multiple subject credential is intended for graduates seeking teaching positions at elementary school grade levels.
Admissions Requirements
- Application form and fee
- Orientation interview
- Three evaluations
- Addendum - teacher education
- Certificate of Clearance
- Verification of passing the basic skills requirement
- CSET test results (at least one section passed)
- Verification of current negative TB test
- Official transcript of BA/BS degree
- Letter of explanation if your GPA is under 2.75

Program Details
- We treat all students as individuals. The following basic plans can be modified to meet individual needs:
- Full-time student
- Part-time student until final student teaching
- All courses are offered at the main campus in Fresno, at the Visalia Center and part time at the the Bakersfield Center.
