Grading Instructions

DEADLINES

Graduate & Undergraduate:
12:00 noon, Wednesday, October 25, 2006 (first session only)
Degree Completion:
Three weeks after your last day of class
(Earlier submissions are welcomed!)

Accurately verifying all the grades in the system is a lengthy process. The earlier grades are submitted the sooner we are able to post grades online and inform students regarding satisfactory academic progress.

SUBMITTING ONLINE GRADES

  1. Log-in to Campus Cruiser. If you need assistance loggin on, call Helpdesk x3410.
  2. Click on the MyServices tab.
  3. On the left-hand side in the Faculty menu, select Official Grading.
  4. Select the term you would like to grade or a date range to grade.
  5. Choose F-Final from the Final or Midterm/Intermediate grading drop down menu. DO NOT select Midterm/Intermediate grading.
  6. Choose the course section you would like to grade.
  7. Enter final grades for each student. Every student must receive a permissible grade.
    • Do NOT leave blanks in the grade column.
    • Grades from the CampusCruiser Faculty Tools "Gradebook"will not automatically populate. You must reenter them in the MyServices Grading tab.
    • DO NOT SUBMIT AN “I” GRADE HERE.
  8. Do not enter anything in the “Expire Date” column.
  9. If a student has been in class and received a grade, but is not on the grading screen, please notify the Registrar’s Office IMMEDIATELY!
    • Students who have officially withdrawn from class will not show on the online grading roster.
  10. BEFORE you submit your grades online you may want to print the grading screen to keep a record for yourself. You may use the back button to do this.
  11. Once all grades are entered click the submit button.

PROBLEMS GRADING

  • If there are no errors, your grades were submitted successfully
  • If there is an error message, you must submit the grades again (the error message indicates that none of the grades were processed)
