Meet The Dean

Kent Eaton came to Fresno Pacific University in 2008 as dean of the School of Humanities, Religion and Social Sciences. Fueled by a leadership style that is collaborative and consensus-building with an interest in shared values, he desires FPU to be a force for transformation and justice and to have students in the community in a way that their academics speak to the community. A background in history, a diploma from a Spanish university and interests in theology add breadth to his past experience as associate dean and professor of pastoral ministry, professor of church history, dean of students, and interim dean of faculty.
