Meet the Dean

Lorin Neufeld came to Fresno Pacific University in 1990 and is now the Interim Dean of the School of Natural Sciences. He has a varied background in chemistry, physics, and computer science. His primary interest has been teaching and advising students. It has been exciting to for him to see many of his former students move on to graduate work and employment and have successful careers.

Education:

Ph.D., 1970.  Kansas State University -- Recipient of NDEA Fellowship 1964 -1967. Degree was in Physical Chemistry. Dissertation concerned the atomic and spark spectra of Scandium.

M.S., 1987.  Western Michigan University – Computer Science

B.A., 1964.  Tabor College –Chemistry
