Coward's play centers on the eccentric Bliss family, which invites company for a weekend of fun, frolic and frightfully bad manners. Can the diplomatist, the boxer, the flapper and the Russian seductress survive the theatrics and romantic machinations of the Bliss clan? Or will the role-playing and games be too much for outsiders to handle?
Jennifer Sampson is the director. A graduate of the master of fine arts program at the University of San Diego, Sampson was in many shows at The Old Globe theater, several directed by Tony Award winning directors. A highlight for Sampson was appearing in the premier of Arthur Miller's last play and working with him in rehearsals.
Bethany Rader is assistant director. Actors are Donna Carr as Judith Bliss, Loren Nikkel as David Bliss, Ben Carr as Simon Bliss, Ava Nicole Pacino as Sorel Bliss, Lauren Bagato as Clara, Maya Oselsky as Myra Arundel, Stephanie Wasemiller as Jackie Coryton, Tony Saragosa as Sandy Tyrell and Jacob Bailey/Robert Sanchez as Richard Greatham.
