As the director of residence life and housing I oversee a team of three residential directors. I also am responsible for making sure that the Residence Life and Housing procedures run as smoothly as possible. The scope of my work encompasses organizing check-in and check-out, room assignments, keys, facilities, the housing lottery and a multitude of other tasks. I consider the role that residence life/housing plays in the life of a student is integral to both a student's personal development and to his/her overall college experience.

Background:
I am originally from Canada, but have spent the past five years serving as a residence director at Union University in Jackson, Tenn. I have worked in Residence Life for eight years. I earned a M.A. in student developing/counseling from Providence Theological Seminary and a B.A. in Christian ministries from Aldersgate College, both in Canada. I started my career at Fresno Pacific in the fall of 2004. I enjoy camping, reading, fishing, sports, and playing with my chocolate lab, J.J.
