Understanding and accommodating the needs of students with a disability:
Instructors must have a clear understanding of the possible educational implications of specific disabilities. It's important to remain aware that students with disabilities may require certain adaptations, and it is important that instructors be receptive and responsive to students who indicate that they have such needs.
