It examines human behavior throughout the world, discovering how people in distinct cultural contexts live together, creating and interpreting experiences.

Contemporary Christian ministries explores practical forms of service in church and para-church ministries.

Communication Minor

Communication encompasses a broad skill set that is critical to almost any role people fill in the workplace, the church or in society overall. The communication minor equips students with this skill set, helping develop an understanding of successful communication processes and practices.

Coaching Minor

Coaches provide inspiration and leadership to sports teams - both competitive and recreational. The coaching minor equips students with the tools needed in many coaching roles.

Classics Minor

The classics minor introduces students to the language and thought of the ancient world, from which many of the foundations of the modern world are derived: Judaism, Christianity, politics, philosophy, history, and so forth. It prepares students for advanced study in biblical and religious studies, literature, history, law, philosophy, languages, the classics and many other related areas.

The chemistry minor provides students with an introduction to the various areas of chemistry and explores their impact on the modern world.

Biology Minor

The biology minor offers a basic understanding of the natural world, including its living organisms. Humans, and their relationship to other organisms, are studied as a part of a living order. Students gain a basic understanding of the unifying concepts, diversity and importance of organisms.

Music has the ability to enhance virtually any aspect of life, including our ability to learn. Thus, music teachers not only offer musical instruction, they offer skills that are useful in studying other subjects. The secondary teaching emphasis offers students the tools necessary to train future musicians.
