The FPU Foundation offers a variety of ways to give which benefit both the donor and FPU. Through planned giving, donors can achieve their goals, cut taxes, increase their income and give students a quality education based on Biblical values.

To guarantee educational excellence and protect FPU from financial pressures, a strong financial base is necessary. Gifts have come from traditional sources such as trusts and real estate as well as non-traditional sources such art, automobiles and collectibles.

The charitable gift annuity has been used by many who wish to make meaningful gifts to charitable organizations or institutions, but want to also provide for their own future financial well-being.

A gift annuity makes it possible to transfer cash or marketable securities such as stocks or bonds (including mutual funds) to an organization or institution you want to benefit. In exchange, you and/or someone else you designate will receive fixed payments for life.

Why a Gift Annuity?

The gift annuity serves two purposes: giving and receiving.

The FPU Annual Fund provides essential monetary support for the resources that maintain and improve the excellent academic, ethical and spiritual education for which FPU is known. Since tuition covers only a portion of the cost of education, the university relies on the generous donations of caring individuals such as alumni, parents and friends.

University Communications promotes the mission of FPU while protecting and enhancing the university's reputation and offering a wide range of services. As the official voice of the university, we seek to provide a clear and consistent message for the FPU community, news media and public.
