Experts express optimism at Teacher Job Fair (video link)

More than 20 schools and school districts and 130 teachers attended FPU’s Teacher Education Job Fair March 17 in the Special Events Center on the main campus. Organizers were pleased with the turnout, which included 20 public school districts, two charter high schools and one private Christian school.

Business Forum audience hears joyful message

Going to work should be like making the winning score in the closing seconds of a basketball championship, author and former CEO Dennis Bakke said at the 2006 Fresno Pacific University Business Forum on September 27. “In a championship game, once in awhile you have a chance to use your skill to make a difference,” he said.
