Fresno Pacific’s growing reputation is leading to a new center in Merced.
The university began bachelor’s degree completion classes in Merced in the 1990s. Three years ago FPU began considering another center, to join those in North Fresno, Visalia and Bakersfield, and satellite programs in Hanford and Lemoore.

Fresno Pacific University started as Pacific Bible Institute, occupying a single building located on Tuolomne Street in downtown Fresno. We now encompass a 40-acre campus and 4 regional centers, and we're still growing. The main campus continues to serve traditional undergraduate and graduate students, while the regional centers offer bachelor's degree completion and graduate programs designed for working adults.
