In case you missed it, the story about Ministry Quest students putting together relief kits for Haiti made the news on all Fresno news stations, KSEE 24, KMPH 26, ABC 30, KGPE 47, and Univision ch. 21.
This was all part of a joint project with MCC, the seminary and Ministry Quest.
Thanks to the MB Biblical Seminary staff, faculty and student community along with MQ and MCC for gathering/assembling the supplies for the relief kits to send to the victims in Haiti.
Ministry Quest Staff MB Biblical Seminary’s 1.6 million dollar Lilly Endowment grant will come to an end during the Summer of 2006. Over the last four years the funds have enabled the formation of Hearing the Call, a set of mutually supporting programs that equips congregations to “call out” youth and encourage them to consider vocational ministry. Ministry Quest is the largest component of Hearing the Call. Because of its success Ministry Quest will continue through at least 2009.
In September 2006, MB Biblical Seminary’s Ministry Quest program received a grant from the Lilly Endowment Inc. that will allow the program to continue calling out, developing and training young leaders for churches and their communities through at least 2011.
MB Biblical Seminary is delighted to announce the appointment of
Rick Bartlett as the Ministry Quest program director effective June
2003. Ministry Quest is a program giving High School Youth the
opportunity to explore ministry as a vocational option. Ministry Quest
is the High School component of the "Hearing The Call" project directed
by John Neufeld. In addition to Directing Ministry Quest, Rick will
teach courses and lead seminars in youth ministry, leadership
development and discipleship.
