A former student rejoined his teacher in the latest Pacific Artist Series concert. Upcoming performances are new music by the Del Sol Quartet; the songs, stories and history of Yosemite by Tom Bopp and a cantata composed by FPU emeritus Larry Warkentin.
Soprano Deborah Sauer-Ferrand and pianist Douglas Sumi (BA ’05) performed October 17 in the McDonald Hall Atrium on the main campus.
This concert for the Pacific Artist Series will feature the Del Sol Quartet. It will be held in the McDonald Hall Atrium. Price for general dmission if $12, for seniors/students $8, and for the FPU Community $5. You may purchase tickets at the door.

"Fiddler on the Roof," the classic musical about Tevye, Golde, their family, friends and folkways, comes to Fresno Pacific University Friday and Saturday, March 23, 24 and 30, 31.
Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Special Events Center. The campus is located at 1717 S. Chestnut Ave., south of the Butler intersection.

Music with a Moldovan flavor is next on the list for the Pacific Artist Series at Fresno Pacific University.
Patmos will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2005, in the McDonald Hall Atrium on the campus, 1717 S. Chestnut Ave, south of the Butler-Chestnut intersection.
This chamber-style instrumental ensemble from Moldova was formed in 1992 to minister around the world through music. The group has performed in Europe, Canada, the United States and at the Feast of the Tabernacles in Jerusalem.

A pianist and a piece of music make their California premiere as Fresno Pacific University’s Pacific Artists Series opens its second season.
Walter Saul will perform Friday, September 19 at 8:00 p.m. in the atrium of McDonald Hall, on the FPU campus. Tickets are $5 for general audiences, $3 for those 62 or older and $10 for families, and are available at the door.
