Fresno Pacific University hosts nationally known cellist, pianist

Audiences can expect the unexpected when two nationally known musicians team up for a concert sponsored by Fresno Pacific University.

Philip Aaberg, piano, and Eugene Friesen, cello, will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, November 8, in First Presbyterian Church, 1540 M Street. They will be joined by special guests Milton Friesen, vocalist, and Laurell Huber, organist.

World-renowned pianist to perform at FPU

An award-winning pianist and Beethoven performer comes to Fresno Pacific University February 16. 

Sam Rotman received his bachelor of arts and master of music degrees from the Juilliard School in New York City. His more than 900 worldwide performances have included appearances in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Eastern and Western Europe, South America, Southeast Asia and Russia. He is also the recipient of several distinguished international awards, the most prestigious being laureate winner in the fourth International Beethoven Competition in Vienna, Austria.
