Richard Kriegbaum returned to FPU as interim dean of the School of Business June 16 while the university seeks a replacement for departing dean Dennis Langhofer.
Kriegbaum, Ph.D., who was university president from 1985 until 1997, is enthusiastic about coming back. “In one sense, one never really leaves,” he said. After so many years as an administrator it was hard to leave the school completely behind, and Kriegbaum has continued to be involved in the Fresno Pacific community.
Nonprofits-including churches and missions-based organizations-provide essential services to various members of a community. They exist to serve, and are run by people with the same commitments to service. The nonprofit administration emphasis equips graduates with the tools necessary to effectively and efficiently manage various aspects of a nonprofit organization.
Author and leadership expert John C. Maxell spoke on "How to be a REAL Success" to a record 1,600 attendees at the 2007 Business Forum, held on Friday, October 26. Events then moved to FPU's campus, where Maxwell addressed several hundred students, faculty and staff in a College Hour chapel presentation, and about 150 community and campus leaders at a luncheon discussion.
