Over the years we have more than once used the theme of bright lights shining in the darkness to frame a report on Honduras. We do not want to make it trite by using it again, but it is the theme both of us thought of as we reflected on these two weeks in Honduras.

MB Biblical Seminary Recognizes Community Service with Award
MB Biblical Seminary announced today they have selected Kings View as the recipient of their Community Service Award for 2009. Officials say the organization was chosen because their efforts have brought healing and hope to many men, women, and children throughout the Valley.

MB Biblical Seminary announced faculty and staff reductions today effective this year and next. In addition to immediate across-the-board reductions in health and retirement benefits, seminary administration announced the reduction of several full-time staff and faculty positions.

The Tabor College Concert Choir of Hillsboro, Kansas, recently headed out west for concerts over spring break to spread the music of our roots. The concert, entitled “The Aroma of Christ,” is based on 2 Corinthians 2:15 and explores the themes of Christ in the World, Christ in Us, and With Christ in Eternity.
