Larry Shehadey gives half-million dollars to Fresno Pacific University

Longtime Fresno business leader Larry A. Shehadey is contributing $500,000 to a multi-million-dollar project at Fresno Pacific University, President D. Merrill Ewert announced.

“We are proud to name the dining room of our new campus center for Larry A. Shehadey,” Ewert said. “His generosity will help generations of students enjoy the benefits of Christian higher education.”

Board members break ground for new building

Business and pleasure were both on the Fresno Pacific University Board of Trustees agenda during regular meetings October 26-27. In addition to approving a new benefit for employees and a new method to evaluate the president, members participated in special events ranging from a groundbreaking to a prayer breakfast.

FPU Homecoming features facilities dedication, family events

The key to a great weekend is Homecoming at Fresno Pacific University.

The annual event, which takes place this Friday and Saturday at several locations on campus, features events ranging from groundbreaking for a building and dedicating a soccer field to concerts and a carnival.
