Student Life

It's an FPU thing (video link)

“That Thing at FPU” gets new and returning students together at the start of each semester.

On August 30 each leadership group performed a skit to promote its work. The student activities board, for example, highlighted upcoming student activities. Between skits were drawings for gift cards for fun stuff like Starbucks and iTunes. The event concluded with a showing of the movie Thor on the University Green.

Student Life hosted the annual end-of-the-year BBQ May 2 on the University Green on the main campus. Helping students blow off steam were five inflatable bounce houses and a meal on the lawn.

Educating for life

Capturing student life, and other impossible dreams

The easy way to write a story about student life is to go to the Student Life Office, talk to the dean for overall direction, get a copy of the goals/mission/vision statement, move on to the program directors to find out about implementation, generate a pile of notes and start writing.

Simple. Logical. Comprehensive.

Right up until I tried it.
