General Education Cohort

The general education cohort is designed for students who have not taken many college units. By completing this cohort you will be ready to join one of our DC major programs and finish your bachelor's degree.

  • Cohorts usually meet face-to-face for class one night per week in this efficient accelerated program

If you have already fulfilled requirements, you may opt out of courses, moving into and out of the open cohort as needed. The schedule is flexible—you choose ten electives. You may expect fifteen hours of instruction per week and thirty hours of homework assignments per week if you participate in the full schedule. Courses are guaranteed to be scheduled. Low enrollment courses may be scheduled online.

  • Four years post-secondary experience 
  • Minimum 2.4 GPA 
  • International students must have a passing TOEFL score

  • Tuition: $185 per unit
  • Books: Students purchase their own textbooks.

This general education program will provide you with a foundation for critical thinking, communication, content knowledge, reflection, moral reasoning, service, culture and global perspective, quantitative reasoning, and information literacy. Upon completion you will be prepared to join one of several DC major programs and finish your bachelor’s degree: Liberal Arts, Criminology & Restorative Justice Studies, Christian Ministry & Leadership, or Business Administration. Program prerequisites may be completed during the 18-month schedule.
