Junior Graphic Designer

It is headquartered in Los Angeles with offices in Chicago, Toronto and England, and is seeking a junior graphic designer to train under the creative director and assist in projects completion from beginning to end. The junior graphic designer will be able to assist in brainstorming and bring a fresh perspective to the Blue team to present to clients. The position allows a junior person to join the team who already encompasses a solid foundation of the basics in graphic design, but will be molded and further educated on working in graphic design. Blue moves at a fast pace and the junior positions move at a similar speed. The typical turnaround time for projects is 2-3 days from start to finish. The hours are flexible in terms of start time and can be negotiated. The preferable time would be between 8-10am. Applicant accepted would be an hourly contractor. Ideally the candidate would be in California for training purposes, but this is a flexible requirement. They will need to work remotely and have access to a quiet work space/home office with reliable Internet access and may be required to train with the creative director in southern California. The preferred candidate would be proficient in Adobe software (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and have an understanding of the web world and talented in electronic space.
