Welcome back to school!
I pray you all had a wonderful summer and are ready to jump back into the fall 2022 semester. We have been gearing up for an amazing semester and are so pleased that you have chosen Fresno Pacific University. We have some wonderful campus events planned for this semester and hope that you are able to join us. On Friday, September 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Special Events Center on the main campus is our Fall Convocation to kick- off and celebrate the start of the school year. Convocation is open to all students and faculty will be dressed in their regalia, ready to greet you and honor our student body. Convocation will also be a time to meet the new FPU president, Dr. André Stephens. Dr. Stephens answered God’s call and joined FPU over the summer. As you may recall, during the spring 2022 semester, FPU participated in a reaffirmation of accreditation visit from the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). We are so pleased to celebrate an eight-year reaffirmation of accreditation as a result of that visit. Additionally, the School of Business continues its candidacy status of programmatic accreditation with the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). We have so much to celebrate as we come back together as a community. Welcome back and I look forward to seeing you soon!
