When you completed your credential at FPU, you completed the first step in earning your Master’s in Teaching. You have up to five years post-credential to return to FPU and finalize your MAT by completing 4 courses over two semesters. Each course is 8 weeks in length and classes meet one night per week. You will have the opportunity to deepen your teaching practice and build your teacher-researcher identity. The final four courses emphasize teacher inquiry into problems of practice, offer you an opportunity to engage in rigorous scholarly and professional dialogue about issues critical to new teachers, and align with many California Teacher Induction Programs.
