Fresno Pacific University faculty participates in art show

Robin Dolarian, art faculty, will show his work February 1-24 at Gallery 25, 1526 Fulton St. "Innards" is a dual exhibit with Barbara Beasley-Eggbrouwer.

Dolarian's mixed media compositions chronicle his experiences on hemodialysis and his eventual kidney transplant. The large works are mostly brightly colored and feature found objects, simple exaggerated shapes and basic three-dimensional illusion.

Beasley-Eggbrouwer's ceramic heart sculptures deal with how people are damaged by past relationships and personal weakness. They also feature symbols of hope, courage and healing to communicate both devastation and renewal.

There will be an artist's reception from 2-5 p.m. February 2 and an art hop from 5-8 p.m. February 7 at the gallery, located behind Fresno Metropolitan Museum.
