Student musicians from Fresno Pacific University took part in the 2018 College Band Directors National Association Western/Northwestern Division Conference March 21-24, at Sonoma State University. The conference provided an opportunity to hear nine outstanding ensembles, attend a varied panel of clinic sessions and two special sessions led by guest clinician Allan McMurray, distinguished professor emeritus at the University of Colorado. The FPU Symphonic Band has also been accepted to perform at the National Band and Orchestra Festival in Carnegie Hall in April 2019.
