Weather varied from rain to sun to wind, but the participants West Coast Mennonite Relief Sale were faithful, raising more than $185,000 for Mennonite Central Committee April 7-8, 2017, on the main FPU campus, 1717 S. Chestnut Ave., Fresno. MCC is a well-regarded Christian international relief organization organized after World War I by a group of Anabaptist denominations, including the Mennonite Brethren, the denomination affiliated with FPU. Two special guests at this 50th West Coast sale were incoming FPU President Joseph Jones, Ph.D., and his wife, Yvette (pictured at left). The couple met people at the university Alumni Coffee Booth Saturday morning and enjoyed their first zweibach. More about the sale at facebook.com/westcoastmennonitereliefsale/
