Gonzalo Juarez (BA ’12) will graduate in May 2018 with a Master of Public Administration degree and Certificate in Public Policy from the Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California. Since beginning the program in the fall of 2016, Gonzalo has worked for a state senator, city councilmember and government relations consultant. Since moving to Sacramento he has been a policy analyst with the California Department of General Services, evaluating regulations related to educational facilities. In the spring of 2018 he led a team of five graduate students in evaluating the Sacramento Council of Governments’ organizational operations related to local government collaboration and engagement, which entailed a formal evaluation of the organization’s internal and external structures, financial resource allocation and socio-economic environment.
